You just need to turn them on and leave them in the case flashing red for testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Enter your Trace Case ID<\/li><li>Press the <strong>ON <\/strong>button on the bottom right corner of your case; Make sure the Tracers are flashing <strong>RED<\/strong><\/li><li>Follow all remaining steps on your Trace Teams App to start Tracing<\/li><li>Place your case and camera outside of your house for one (1) hour <br><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">The case must be outside in order for the GPS to work properly<\/span><\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">End your test game<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Return to your Trace Teams App,  tap (Stop Tracing) and follow all remaining steps to Stop Tracing.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Set up your wifi (1st timers only)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Take everything back inside and connect your case to a power source. If you have never set up your Trace case on your wifi network please follow the steps to <a href=\"https:\/\/traceup.com\/soccer\/help\/v1-getting-started-guide\/v1-connect-to-network\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">connect your case to wifi<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Upload the test data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Go here for <a href=\"https:\/\/traceup.com\/soccer\/help\/v1-getting-started-guide\/v1-uploading\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">more detailed uploading instructions<\/a> if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Once your case is connected to wifi, connect your camera USB cables to your case USB ports on the top right corner.<\/li><li>Press the Transfer button on the top left corner of your case to ON.<\/li><li>Your case will automatically begin uploading data once powered on.  Allow your case to upload everything until it shuts down. This could take a few hours depending on your wifi speed. The case may restart itself during this process. You will know that the upload is complete when the Transfer power light is off.<\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" id=\"update\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Last step &#8211; update software: manually power the case off and on <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure that your upload is complete and the Transfer button light is off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Unplug your Trace Case from its power source<\/li><li>Wait 10 seconds<\/li><li>Plug your Trace case back into the power source and leave it plugged in overnight to allow the case to charge fully.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"special_message special_message_green\"><strong>You are done.<\/strong>  Please email us at <a href=\"mailto:q@traceup.com\">q@traceup.com<\/a> if you have any questions or concerns.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Before you start In total, this update will take approximately 1.5 hours; however, you only need to be present for 30 minutes of that time.
